Scripture Saturday – 4 April 2020

Published: April 5, 2020 Category: Holy Week & Easter 2020, Youth Resources

Every Saturday Bishop Donal will share a reflection on a piece of scripture. We invite the young people to watch, like, share and comment.

Each Saturday also we invite everyone to post their favourite scripture quote or a scripture quote that is particularly comforting them at this time. It is uplifting to see these posts and how the Word of God is speaking and helping all of us in these days.

‘All scripture is inspired by God’

Bishop Donal reflects on the theme of #BeTheLight with scripture to the young people of Derry Diocese. Bishop Donal explains that the Word of God is there “to teach you today, not just about the past but about now”.

The Word of God is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in the truth, so that you can growth in faith along with your friends and be ready the good work that Jesus wants us to do in this fractured world.

Scripture Saturday is part of the Derry Youth weekly programme of faith activities for young people in the Diocese of Derry.

Every week we invite you to engage with the opportunity for daily prayer and reflection. Follow us on:
