Communities across Derry and Donegal will commemorate the 1500th anniversary of the birth of Saint Colmcille/Columba in 2021. Bishop Donal McKeown hopes, “In this year of Columba, people of faith can rediscover his call to heroism and to leaving the world a better place because of his life.”
These resources will help schools to set up Prayer Stations to help children and young people understand how Saint Columba/Colmcille lived in close friendship with Jesus Christ and how, filled with the Holy Spirit, he responded to God’s perfect plan for his life.
