Advent is the time set aside by the Church to prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas, into our hearts, into our lives and into the world. We invite you to reflect on the theme of, ‘Blessed are the Pure in Heart, they shall see God.’ Throughout Advent we encourage you to look at Mary as the perfect example of being pure in heart and one who always leads us to her Son, our Saviour, Jesus. This Advent, as we journey towards the season of Christmas, “May the maternal gaze of the Blessed Virgin Mary, full of grace, all-beautiful and all-pure, accompany us at every step along the way.” (Pope Francis)
