Advent is the time set aside by the Church to prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas, into our hearts, into our lives and into the world. We encourage you to take time to prepare to celebrate, as Pope Francis says, ‘the root of our hope.’ At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We give thanks for the love, hope and joy found in Jesus- our Saviour and friend.
