Abraham’s Tent – Guided Meditation during the Season of Creation

Published: September 21, 2021

Guided Meditation, using a passage from scripture, is a way of praying that uses all the senses. It comes from the tradition of Saint Ignatius. This Guided Meditation (Gen 18:1-15) gives all of us an opportunity to reflect and pray.  Abraham’s tent was open on all sides, a reminder that all are welcome. The tent is a place of shelter or refuge and serves to remind us that we should care for creation and keep it safe for all creatures, in our common home, the household (oikos) of God.
