Columba – Patron Saint of Derry

Published: June 7, 2021

The 9th of June is the Feast day of Saint Columba.  This year we celebrate the birth of Saint Columba 1500 years ago. The saint and his rich legacy have shaped the language, culture and history of Ireland, Scotland and the north of England.
