Perpetua and Felicity- Martyrs

Published: March 6, 2023

Perpetua and Felicity were Christian martyrs who lived during the early persecution of the Church in Africa by the Emperor Severus. The two women are admired for their extraordinary faith and courage in the faith of death. They championed freedom of conscience at a time when it was considered treason to refuse to worship the Roman gods, including the emperor.
