Seven Last Words of Jesus

Published: April 3, 2023

As Jesus hung on the Cross, he uttered seven last words. Over the years meditating on these words has become a tradition in Christian Churches, particularly in Holy Week and on Good Friday.

We asked Fr Paul, Karen, Marie, Jim, Marguerite, Fr Aidan and Yvonne to pray and reflect on these words over Lent and share their thoughts and prayers.

We invite you now to use these reflections to be present with Jesus in this most sacred of weeks. They can be viewed as one complete video or as individual reflections on each of the seven last words.
