Stations of the Cross for Children during the Coronavirus

Published: February 23, 2021 Category: Chaplaincy Resources, Family Prayer Resources, Lent 2021 | Care Hope Pray, Primary School Resources

The Stations of the Cross, found in every Catholic Church, help us to think about Jesus’ last journey to the Cross on the hill of Calvary. They give us great hope. They let us know that God is always with us. As the children walk with Jesus to the Cross, giving him comfort and support, they will come to know that Jesus, their friend and brother, is walking with them too at this difficult time.

The images  in the presentation are used with permission by Saint Theresa’s Primary School, Glebe, Sion Mills. They were created some years ago by Mr Bert McNulty’s, Year 7 Class, in collaboration with local artist Gloria Perry.
