The Baptism Prayer Card encourages parents to pray for their unborn child and themselves as they await its birth. It also asks parents-to-be to consider the name they will give their child, as it is the name that God will know them by for all time.
It can be given to parents-to-be when they are encouraged to receive a blessing for their unborn child and themselves after Mass in their parish.
A parish may wish to hold a monthly Mass where parents-to-be receive a blessing and the Prayer Card.
