Jesus’ death did not end in death but in life. At the Easter Vigil Jesus asks us to be part of the most important night of the year. It is the key night in the story of our faith, the night of Jesus’ Resurrection. It is not just something from the past, a story to be told. The Resurrection happens now. Because of the Easter Vigil, we can face anything in life. There is no need to be afraid. Jesus Christ, our risen Saviour, has defeated even death. Death has been defeated. This is the day of Good News. This Good News should be our life story. We are all invited to choose this Good News and make it our own. The Easter season lasts for 50 days from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday. These resources will support families, schools and parishes as they Celebrate the ‘Good News’ of Jesus’ Resurrection, Rejoice in the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Resurrection and Share the ‘Good News’ of Jesus’ Resurrection.
