Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre is responsible for catechesis in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Derry. The centre provides faith formation and religious education support to Catholic schools, parishes and families. It aims to bring people of every age into a closer relationship with Jesus in the Body of Christ. The centre was established in 2005 with Fr Paul Farren as centre director.
The centre provides a variety of resources for the development of parish catechists, parish catechetical leaders, formation gatherings, retreats and assistance in determining catechetical programming for parishes and Catholic primary and post primary schools.
